Cable YOYO POP Review

Here at TestandReview we recently have received the Cable YOYO POP from CableOrganizer.com.  After opening the package, I first noticed the brightest piece, a role of colorful stickers for use on the faceplate of the device. This product has been advertised as an organizing device for loose earbud cables on your Mp3 player or iPods.  In my opinion, there really isn't anything more annoying than spending five minutes untangling your earbuds everytime you want to listen to some music.  Using a suction cup, the Cable YOYO POP attaches easily to nearly any smooth surface of a minimum size.  After securing the Cable YOYO POP, all one has to do is wind the loose earbud cords around the space between the faceplate and the suction cup.  So far I have found that this product attaches amazingly for nearly any piece of electronics.  Testing revealed that the suction cup works seemlessly on any Creative Zen Micro, as well as my LG cell phone.  Furthermore, anyone should be comforted to know that the Cable YOYO POP will adapt to fit several sizes of coffee cups.  My only gripe would have to be the fact that smaller flash based Mp3 players such as my Creative Zen Muvo are unable to support the Cable YOYO POP.  Where the product makes up for that minor shortfall, is its adaptability to different surfaces.  Included in the package, are several pieces of adhesive plastic, which may be applied to rougher, textured  surfaces, allowing the Cable YOYO POP to be applied to a variety of protective cases and coverings.  To test the functionality of these adhesive pads, I applied them to a textured wall surface.  To my surprise, the device attached perfectly, and I was eventually able to get the adhesive plastic off my wall.  Other applications of this device include managing earbud cords for laptops.

Bottom Line: The Cable YOYO POP is tasteful in design, has great adaptability, and functions just as one might hope, in organizing loose earbud/headphone cords.

Overall: 8/10

Pros: Size, Design, Suction Cup is fun to play with, and adaptable so a range of surfaces

Cons: Doesn't work with smaller electronics(some flash based mp3 players), and adds significant bulk to players similar in size to the iPod Nano.

Thank You CableOrganizer.com!
